Job summary

Accenture in Bengaluru seeks a seasoned Functional Architect for Sales Excellence to design, prioritize, and deliver sales applications serving 50,000+ users. You will understand requirements, implement changes, and ensure end-to-end delivery of updates across the SDLC.

The role requires 4–5+ years of relevant experience, English fluency, and strong Excel/Salesforce skills. Hybrid work model and collaboration with global teams are expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand high-level requirements across teams and applications.
• Comfortable engaging with senior leadership within the scope of responsibility.
• Flexible with work hours to support global time zones, release weekends, and critical issue resolution.

• Build and test application updates.
• Apply knowledge of the software development lifecycle to execute projects end-to-end.
• Respond promptly to critical events and follow through on resolution (incident management).
• Manage user access and security provisioning.
• Work independently with minimal supervision as an individual contributor.
• Recognize and seek guidance on competing priorities.
• May supervise a small team with oversight from a supervisor.
• Provide input into operational processes and tool design/maintenance.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Sales Excellence offerings and how Application Architecture supports them.
• Understand how the Application Architecture team fits into the broader Accenture picture.

The Work

The Sales Excellence CoE Application Architecture team provides functional architecture support for our sales and pricing tools, ensuring stability, alignment, and performance. As a member of this team, you will help design, prioritize, and deliver sales applications that enable more than 50,000 users across Accenture, ensuring our tools continue to address evolving business needs.
