Job summary

ContraVault is hiring a Sales Development Representative to be the first voice for US contractors. You will open conversations with estimators, owners and executives to schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives.

This high-visibility role sits at the front of our growth, working closely with founders and sales leadership to build skills for a long career in enterprise sales.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in SDR/BDR, preferably in B2B SaaS.
• Fluent English with confidence to talk to senior US executives.
• Proven track record meeting or exceeding pipeline targets.
• Experienced with LinkedIn and email outreach.
• CRM experience with HubSpot or Attio.

Responsibilities

• Make cold calls to estimators, chief estimators, owners and executives at US industrial contractors.
• Reach out to prospects via LinkedIn and email with personalized messages.
• Research target accounts and build lead lists for each cycle.
• Run multi-touch prospecting across phone, LinkedIn and email; follow up until outcome.
• Qualify prospects and book discovery calls and demos for Account Executives.
• Log all activity and deals in the CRM; keep pipeline accurate.
• Share market feedback to sharpen messaging and targeting.

ContraVault AI is a deep tech company building AI that reads construction projects the way a senior estimator does. Before any project is built, teams must review hundreds of engineering drawings and tender documents to determine scope and cost, and for decades this work has been done manually.

Our models automate it. Trained on more than one million industrial drawings across piping, electrical, mechanical and HVAC, they convert engineering drawings into material takeoffs, labor estimates and priced bills of materials in hours rather than days. Very few teams in the world are working on this problem at this depth.

About the Role

As a Sales Development Representative, you will be the first voice many US contractors hear from ContraVault AI. You will open conversations with estimating leaders, owners and executives at industrial contractors across the United States, including multi-billion dollar companies, and turn those conversations into qualified meetings for our Account Executives.

What You Will Do

• Make cold calls to estimators, chief estimators, owners and executives at US industrial contractors.
• Reach out to prospects over LinkedIn and email with personalised, well-researched messages.
• Research target accounts and build lead lists for each prospecting cycle.
• Run multi-touch prospecting cycles across phone, LinkedIn and email, and follow up until every lead reaches a clear outcome.
• Qualify prospects and book discovery calls and demos for our Account Executives.
• Log every activity, contact and deal in our customer relationship management (CRM) system and keep the pipeline accurate.
• Share what you hear from the market with sales and marketing to sharpen our messaging and targeting.

What You Will Need

• 2+ years of experience as a Sales Development Representative or Business Development Representative, ideally in B2B SaaS.
• Exceptional spoken and written English, with the confidence to hold a polished conversation with senior US executives.
• Comfort and consistency with high-volume cold calling.
• Experience prospecting over LinkedIn and email, including LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
• A track record of meeting or exceeding meeting and pipeline targets.
• Working knowledge of a CRM such as HubSpot or Attio.
• Resilience, discipline and a strong drive to win.

Preferred Skills

• Experience selling to US buyers
• Experience selling to construction, engineering or industrial companies
• Familiarity with sales engagement tools such as Apollo, Smartlead or Instantly

Additional Information

This is a full-time, on-site role based at our office in HSR Layout, Bengaluru, five days a week. The shift runs from 5 PM to 3 AM IST to align with our US team and customers.

We provide a cab home after every shift and dinner in the office.
