About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and well‑organized Commercial Coordinator to manage day‑to‑day commercial communication and coordination within our manufacturing setup. This is a front‑line coordination role that bridges our customers with internal teams and engineering, production, accounts and purchase.
The ideal candidate is a confident communicator who takes ownership of follow‑ups and keeps all correspondence and records in order.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle routine commercial correspondence including enquiries, quotations, order confirmations, and follow‑ups in a timely and professional manner.
- Liaise and coordinate effectively with internal departments – Engineering, Production, and Accounts – to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain organized and up‑to‑date records of offers, client communications, purchase orders, and order status.
- Track open enquiries and pending orders; send regular follow‑ups to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Support the preparation of commercial documents such as quotations, proforma invoices, and order acknowledgements.
- Maintain a well‑structured filing system (digital and/or physical) for all commercial documentation.
- Escalate issues or delays proactively to the relevant department or management.
- Coordinate with transporters/courier carriers for quotation and dispatches.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma Holder/Graduate in any discipline (B.Com, B.A., B.Sc., or equivalent).
- Excellent written and spoken English – this is a primary requirement for the role.
- High ownership and a good common sense.
- Clear and professional communication style for both customer‑facing and internal correspondence.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Email).
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Prior experience in a commercial, sales coordination, or customer service role in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred but not mandatory.
