Role Description

The Sales Engineer (SMT) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. This role involves identifying and engaging prospective customers in SMT and PCB assembly environments, presenting technical solutions, and demonstrating how IMTronics Technology’s equipment and consumables meet their production needs. The Sales Engineer will prepare proposals, conduct product demonstrations, and provide pre- and post-sales technical support to ensure smooth integration and customer satisfaction. Daily activities include responding to inquiries, coordinating with internal teams on pricing and delivery, visiting customer sites, and maintaining accurate sales pipeline and activity reports. The role also requires building long-term customer relationships, gathering feedback from the field, and contributing to market insights that support product and service improvements.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills to understand customer requirements, recommend suitable SMT solutions, and assist with implementation.
• Candidates should possess Sales and Customer Service skills to manage the sales cycle, negotiate effectively, and ensure a positive customer experience before and after purchase.
• Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills to explain technical concepts, deliver presentations, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Relevant experience in SMT, PCB assembly, or electronics manufacturing environments is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site, travel to customer locations as needed, and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
• Proficiency with basic office and CRM software, along with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
