Job summary

Ubifly Technologies Pvt Ltd is seeking a Safety Support Assistant in Chennai to handle PPE storage, inventory, and shop-floor safety tasks. You will support emergency drills, safety checks, and routine safety documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have passed 12th standard (Higher Secondary).
• Strong basic reading and writing skills in English and Tamil; other regional languages are a plus.
• Freshers with strong organizational capabilities or 1–2 years in shop-floor support, store-keeping, or basic safety/warehouse assistance.

Responsibilities

• Manage issuance, receiving, cleaning, and organized storage of PPE and high-voltage safety kits.
• Maintain up-to-date physical registers and logbooks for safety gear maintenance and inventory levels.
• Provide ground support during emergency evacuation drills, fire safety demonstrations, and safety training sessions.
• Assist safety managers during shop-floor inspections by documenting basic hazards or housekeeping issues.
• Coordinate receipt and placement of vendor deliveries for safety equipment and emergency tools.

The Safety Support Assistant providesessential on-ground logistical and operational assistance, maintainingequipment inventory, supporting emergency drills, and assisting with routineshop-floor safety checks.

Qualifications & Skills

• MandatoryQualifications: Passed 12th Standard (Higher Secondary).
• MandatoryCommunication Skills: Basic reading and writing communication skills in English and Tamil(proficiency in additional regional languages is a plus).
• MandatoryExperience: Freshers with strong organizational capabilities or 1–2 years ofexperience in shop-floor support, store-keeping, or basic safety/warehouseassistance.
• PreferredExperience: Previous exposure to industrial store handling, basic fire extinguisherusage, or EHS support roles.
• PrimarySkills: PPEstorage and inventory management, material handling, basic safetyequipment log-keeping, clear verbal communication.
