• Implement laboratory-wide safety initiatives, including safety management systems, committee, meetings and audits.
• Prepare and ensure adherence to safety procedures; identify hazards and conduct risk assessments (HIRA).
• Research, monitor and assess workplace hazards, and administer safety and health programs daily.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Implement laboratory-wise safety initiatives, including safety management systems, safety committee, safety meetings, and safety audits.
• Preparation of safety procedures. Ensure procedures are followed. Workplace Hazards identification and Risk Assessment. (HIRA).
• Research, monitor, and assess workplace hazards, and coordinate and administer safety and health programs. 100% involvement in day to day activity.
• Promote the use of all safety equipment, including personal protective equipment.
• Coordinate all safety-related activities, including training materials development and review, and conducting site inspections.
• Investigates and record accidents and injuries that occur in the workplace.
• Perform other duties related to Quality Management system section.
• Involvement in future accreditation i.e. Fire NOC project.

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualification- B.E Engineering(Any Specialization) + Post Diploma Industrial Safety (PDIS)
• Work Experience- Minimum 9 years of overall experience in Safety.
