Job summary

NXP is seeking a safety engineer to understand the technology, architecture, and function of its automotive products to deliver solid safety concepts and context.

You will perform IP, SoC, and system level safety analyses, review and develop safety work products for ISO 26262 compliance, and conduct fault injection and qualitative/quantitative safety assessments while supporting customers using safety tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of experience in automotive functional safety or at system level; automotive Tier-1 experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience in at least two safety-compliant product developments, developing functional safety and technical safety concepts.
• Experience with safety audits/assessments.
