Job summary

Growth For Impact is seeking a senior automotive safety specialist in India to define and release the product safety concept and context for complex IP and SoC projects. You will conduct safety analyses, ensure ISO26262 and IEC61508 compliance, perform fault injections, support safety audits, and assist customers deploying NXP safety solutions.

• 10–15+ years in automotive functional safety or system-level safety.
• Tier1 automotive experience preferred.
• Hands-on safety concepts for multiple products.
• Experience with ISO26262 and IEC61508 compliance.
• Safety audits and assessments experience.

ROLE

• Definition and release of the product safety concept and context
• Conduct IP, SoC, and system‑level safety analyses, managing maturity and schedule
• Ensure IP and SoC safety work products comply with ISO26262 or IEC61508
• Perform fault injections on NXP IPs and carry out qualitative and quantitative safety analyses
• Provide answers in safety audits and assessments
• Support NXP customers in deploying NXP safety solutions

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
• 10–15+ years of experience in automotive functional safety or system‑level safety; automotive Tier1 experience preferred
• Hands‑on experience in at least four safety‑compliant product developments, creating functional safety and technical safety concepts
• Experience conducting safety audits and assessments
• Knowledge of automotive MCU architectures
• Experience with fault injection verification
• Experience in complex IP development compliant with ISO26262 and/or IEC61508
