NXP Semiconductors is seeking a Functional Safety Architect to join the Automotive Safety Competence Center in India. The role focuses on developing safety concepts, conducting IP/SoC safety analyses, and ensuring ISO26262 compliance across safety work products.

Hands-on safety experience and knowledge of fault injection are essential. The candidate will participate in audits and assessments, with responsibilities spanning IP/Soc safety development and supporting customers using safety outputs.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 5-8 years of experience in Automotive Functional Safety or at System level; Automotive Tiers1 experience would fit.
• Knowledge of ISO26262 and safety process development.

Responsabilidades

• Understand the technology, architecture and functionality to deliver a safety concept and context.
• Perform IP, SoC and System level safety analysis.
• Review and develop IP/SoC safety work products compliant to ISO26262.
• Perform fault injection on NXP IPs and conduct qualitative and quantitative safety analysis.
• Participate in Safety Audits and Assessments.
• Support customers to use Safety work products developed by NXP Safety Team.
