Job summary

Sterling & Wilson is seeking a Safety Officer / Safety Engineer to lead EHS initiatives on site in Gujarat. You will establish safety standards and policies, initiate and organise training, conduct risk assessments and enforce preventive measures, and inspect site work to identify issues such as PPE violations.

You will train and conduct emergency response drills, investigate accidents and near-misses, verify that tools and equipment are safe for use, and ensure compliance with Environment,

Qualifications

• Experience in MEP, industrial, or metro construction work.

• Trains and carries out emergency response drills and exercises on how to manage emergency situations
• Conducts investigations of all accidents and near-misses
• Verifies that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use
• Safety Officer / Safety Engineer responsible for ensuring compliance with Environment, Health & Safety guidelines. The candidate must focus on prevention methods by implementing measures to minimise hazards on site, and should have the following years of experience in MEP, industrial, or metro construction work.
