Job summary

Mendu Enterprise Private Limited in Hyderabad invites a seasoned Manager HSE to lead safety across Telecom & OFC projects. You will develop policies, ensure statutory compliance and drive a zero-incident safety culture.

The role requires 8+ years in telecom/OFC/EPC or infrastructure projects; a Bachelor’s or Diploma in Engineering or Safety is essential. Frequent travel across India is required; the position is full-time and on-site with senior management reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Safety with recognized Industrial Safety qualification.
• Minimum 8 years of HSE experience in Telecom, OFC, EPC or Infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve HSE policies, procedures and safety management systems.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, company safety policies, statutory requirements and client-specific safety standards.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections, audits, toolbox talks, emergency drills and safety awareness training programs.
• Monitor mandatory PPE usage and enforce safe work practices across all project locations.
• Identify workplace hazards, perform risk assessments, implement CAPA actions and investigate incidents.
• Ensure statutory safety compliance at all work locations and maintain licenses, permits and safety records.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and regulatory authorities during safety audits and inspections.
• Prepare HSE reports, incident statistics, safety dashboards and monthly management reviews.
• Guide project teams in achieving zero lost-time incidents and continuous safety improvement.
• Frequent travel to project sites across India is mandatory.

2. Position Summary

The Manager Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) is responsible for leading the safety function across Telecom & OFC projects, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, client requirements and company HSE standards while promoting a zero-incident safety culture.

3. Key Roles & Responsibilities
