Job summary

Thompsons HR Consulting Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced HSE Lead for Bengaluru, Pune or Aurangabad locations. You will develop and implement comprehensive HSE policies, monitor KPIs, conduct risk assessments, and lead incident investigations across multiple sites.

The role requires 5+ years of automation project HSE experience, a Diploma in Industrial Safety or related certs, and strong knowledge of IMS standards. Travel to sites is expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
• Monitoring and maintaining HSE KPIs/Targets at project sites.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure proper safety measures.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations locally and countrywide.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Coordinate and conduct HSE training for employees and contractors.
• Maintain and update HSE documentation and records.
• Conduct regular HSE audits and inspections and drive improvements.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure timely reporting.
• Promote safety culture and continuous improvement within the organization.
• Manage HSE budgets and resources.
• Prepare and present HSE performance reports to project management weekly or monthly.
• Motivate employees and contractors to uphold HSE culture on site.
• Implement sustainability goals at project sites.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive HSE policies, procedures, and programs
• Monitoring and maintaining the HSE KPI s/Targets at Project site
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure proper safety measures are in place
• Monitor compliance with HSE regulations and standards, both local and country
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis; develop corrective and preventive actions
• Coordinate and conduct HSE training programs for employees and contractors
• Maintain and update HSE documentation and records
• Conduct regular HSE audits and inspections, identify areas for improvement, and ensure follow-up actions are completed
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure timely reporting and compliance
• Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement within the organization
• Manage HSE budgets and resources effectively
• Prepare and present HSE performance reports to project management by Monthly/weekly basis
• Motivating to employees and contractor employees on maintain the HSE culture at Project site
• Implementing and maintaining the sustainability goals in the Project site
