2. Position Summary

The Field Supervisor Engineer is responsible for supervising daily field execution of Telecom & OFC projects, ensuring quality workmanship, efficient manpower utilization, compliance with safety standards, and timely completion of deployment activities.

3. Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise daily field activities and allocate manpower, machinery, tools and equipment effectively.
• Monitor duct laying, chamber installation, cable blowing, fiber splicing, testing and commissioning activities.
• Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, quality standards, client specifications and company procedures.
• Monitor material consumption, maintain daily site records, DPRs and work logs.
• Coordinate with Deployment Engineers for work planning, execution schedules and issue resolution.
• Support contractors and field teams to achieve daily deployment targets.
• Identify execution issues and escal
• Verify completed work before client inspection and handover.
• Maintain site discipline and ensure proper housekeeping.

4. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

• Ensure manpower safety during all field activities.
• Enforce compliance with HSE regulations and client safety requirements.
• Monitor mandatory PPE usage by all workers and contractors.
• Promote safe work practices and conduct toolbox talks.
• Report unsafe conditions and assist in corrective actions.
