Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Civil or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Telecom & OFC deployment projects.
• Willingness to travel frequently across India.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute OFC deployment from survey to commissioning.
• Conduct site surveys and finalize deployment plans with teams and contractors.

2. Position Summary

The Senior Engineer Telecom & OFC Deployment is responsible for planning, coordinating and executing Optical Fiber Cable deployment activities from survey through commissioning while ensuring quality, safety, productivity and timely project delivery.

3. Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct initial site surveys with project teams and contractors to finalize execution methodology and deployment plans.
• Plan and execute duct laying, HDPE installation, chamber construction, cable blowing, cable pulling, fiber splicing, testing and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with field engineers, supervisors, contractors and subcontractors to execute work as per approved drawings, BOQs and technical specifications.
• Monitor daily site activities and prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR), material consumption reports and execution updates.
• Manage site manpower, materials, tools, testing instruments, machinery and equipment efficiently.
• Resolve technical issues during execution and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, clients and internal departments for smooth execution.
• Maintain quality standards and complete punch-point clearance before project handover.
• Support documentation, testing records, as-built drawings and client handover documentation.

4. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

• Ensure manpower safety at all project locations.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, statutory requirements and client safety standards.
• Monitor mandatory PPE usage by all employees, contractors and visitors.
• Promote safe work practices and approved SOPs.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inspections, audits and risk assessments.
• Report unsafe conditions and implement corrective and preventive actions.
