Job summary

MENDU ENTERPRISE PRIVATE LIMITED invites a Senior Manager Telecom & OFC Projects to lead large-scale OFC and telecom installations across India. You will plan, mobilize resources, and oversee execution from start-up to client handover, ensuring quality, safety, and profitability.

The role requires a decade-plus track record in telecom/OFC project management, with PMP/Prince2 preferred and a relevant engineering degree. Travel across PAN India is expected on a frequent basis.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of telecom & OFC project management experience.
• PMP / PRINCE2 certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Communication or related field.
• Experience in EPC, FTTH, Backbone Network and utility projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

2. Position Summary

The Senior Manager Telecom & OFC Projects shall lead end-to-end execution of large-scale Optical Fiber Cable and Telecom Infrastructure projects from project initiation through final client handover. The role is responsible for planning, execution, commercial control, resource optimization, quality assurance, HSE compliance, stakeholder management, statutory compliance and customer satisfaction while ensuring profitable project delivery.

3. Key Responsibilities

• Lead complete project execution from mobilization to commissioning and final handover.
• Prepare project execution plans, work breakdown structures, schedules and resource deployment plans.
• Manage project budgets, manpower, materials, equipment, contractors and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, local authorities and internal departments.
• Monitor project progress, quality, safety, productivity and commercial performance.
• Conduct weekly and monthly review meetings and resolve project bottlenecks.
• Drive timely completion with contractual and statutory compliance.
• Review procurement, billing, BOQs, work orders and project documentation.
• Lead multi-disciplinary site teams and ensure performance excellence.
• Prepare MIS reports and management dashboards.

4. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

• Promote a strong safety culture across all project sites.
• Ensure manpower safety through proactive planning and supervision.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE regulations, statutory requirements and client safety protocols.
• Monitor mandatory PPE usage for employees, contractors and visitors.
• Enforce safe work practices and approved SOPs during all activities.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety audits, inspections and risk assessments.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with HSE teams to maintain a zero-incident workplace.

5. Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Civil Engineering, Telecommunications or related discipline.
• 12+ years of Telecom & OFC project management experience.
• PMP / PRINCE2 certification preferred.
• Experience in EPC, FTTH, Backbone Network and Utility Projects is advantageous.
