Responsibilities

• Implement the site HSE policy.
• Conduct daily safety inspections.

• Inspect scaffolding, ladders, lifting tools and equipment.
• Ensure barricading and warning signage.

• Coordinate emergency response and first-aid.
• Ensure client safety requirements compliance.
• Stop unsafe work and report violations.
• Conduct safety induction training for new workers.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement the site Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policy.
• Conduct daily safety inspections of the construction site.
• Identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken immediately.
• Ensure all workers wear the required PPE at all times.
• Conduct toolbox talks and daily safety briefings.
• Monitor work permits for high-risk activities (hot work, height work, excavation, lifting, etc.).
• Inspect scaffolding, ladders, lifting tools, and safety equipment.
• Ensure proper barricading and warning signage in work areas.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases and submit reports.
• Maintain safety records, inspection checklists, and statutory documents.
• Coordinate emergency response, fire drills, and first-aid arrangements.
• Ensure compliance with client safety requirements and legal regulations.
• Stop unsafe work and report serious violations to the Project Manager.
• Conduct safety induction training for new employees and subcontractors.
• Monitor housekeeping and safe material storage across the site.
• Liaise with client safety representatives during inspections and audits.
