Job summary

Facilities And Building Solutions is seeking a Safety Officer to implement and monitor safety protocols on construction sites across our projects in Andhra Pradesh. The role focuses on risk assessments, audits, training, incident investigations, and ensuring PPE compliance.

The ideal candidate will organize toolbox talks, liaise with engineers and contractors, and maintain government-compliant safety records. A NEBOSH/IOSH or related diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing safety protocols per statutory standards.
• Ability to conduct safety audits and mitigate risks.
• Proven incident investigation and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of PPE usage and enforcement of safety rules.

oles and Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor safety protocols as per statutory and organizational standards at construction sites.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks.
• Organize toolbox talks, safety drills, and training programs for workers and staff.
• Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure usage of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and enforce safety rules across the site.
• Maintain safety documentation, reports, and records as per government regulations.
• Liaise with site engineers, contractors, and clients to maintain a safe working environment.

Key Skills:

• Good knowledge of construction safety (especially in Industrial Project)
• Risk assessment and mitigation
• Incident investigation and report preparation
• Fire safety, working at heights, scaffolding, and electrical safety awareness

Preferred Certifications:

• NEBOSH / IOSH / Diploma in Industrial Safety
• First Aid, Fire & Rescue Training (added advantage)
