Job summary

Qualifications

• B.Tech degree and Advanced/Post Diploma in Industrial Safety are mandatory.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant Safety Officer experience in CHP or Refinery environments.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, PTW, JSA, and risk assessments.
• Experience with PPE, LOTO, confined spaces, fire safety, and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all applicable industrial safety, HSE, and statutory requirements.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification across the plant.
• Implement and monitor PTW, JSA, and Safe Work Procedures.
• Ensure proper PPE, LOTO, and other safety procedures are followed.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety training for employees and contractors.

Position: Safety Officer
Industry: Cold Handling Plant (CHP) / Refinery
Experience: Minimum 3 Years
Qualification: B.Tech + Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety / Post Diploma in Industrial Safety
Location: Chhatisgarh Talaipalli

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all applicable industrial safety, HSE, and statutory requirements.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification across the plant.
• Implement and monitor Permit to Work (PTW), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Safe Work Procedures.
• Ensure proper compliance with PPE, LOTO, work-at-height, confined-space, hot-work, and electrical safety procedures.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety training, and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
• Monitor contractor safety and ensure adherence to site safety standards.
• Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
• Conduct regular fire and emergency preparedness drills and ensure emergency response systems are functional.
• Maintain safety records, inspection reports, incident reports, and other HSE documentation.
• Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to identify and eliminate workplace hazards.
• Ensure safe working practices in CHP/refinery/process plant operations.
• Support internal and external safety audits and statutory inspections.
