Job summary

Naini Papers LTD. seeks a proactive Fire & Safety professional to lead EHS initiatives across plant operations and projects in Uttarakhand. You will drive regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, fire safety systems, and a proactive safety culture.

Responsibilities include ISO 45001 implementation, safety audits, PTW/LOTO management, incident investigations, and contractor safety. A Diploma in Industrial Safety and NEBOSH/IOSH/OSHA certs are valued.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of relevant EHS/Fire & Safety experience.
• Diploma/Certification in Industrial Safety (RLI/ADIS).
• NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA or equivalent certification will be an added advantage.
• Experience in project mobilization, execution, commissioning, and plant operations is preferred.

• Implement and maintain the EHS Management System (ISO 45001) and safety policies.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, HIRA/JSA, and risk assessments.
• Manage Permit to Work (PTW), LOTO, and safe work practices for high-risk activities.
• Lead incident, accident, and near-miss investigations and ensure timely CAPA closure.
• Drive contractor safety management across project and operational activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable legal, statutory, and safety requirements.
• Manage fire safety, emergency preparedness, mock drills, and response plans.
• Conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and employee/leadership engagement.
• Drive initiatives to build a proactive and positive safety culture.
