Job summary

SRF in Dahej, Gujarat is seeking an EHS professional to implement policies and ensure compliance across the plant. You will lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and deploy corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

You will drive HIRA/aspect/impact assessments, conduct training on emergency preparedness, implement 5S, and coordinate audits with customers and agencies to maintain safety standards.

Qualifications

• Post Diploma in Industrial Safety (PDIS) or Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS) is mandatory.
• Experience in implementing EHS policies and conducting incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Implement EHS policies and procedures to meet current standards.
• Facilitate incident investigations to identify root causes and countermeasures.
• Carry out HIRA and Aspect/Impact identification across functions.
• Monitor and track statutory EHS compliances in each section.
• Coordinate audits by customers, external agencies, and internal teams.
• Lead the team with effective communication.

Job description

• Responsible for implementing EHS policies & procedures to meet the current standards.
• Facilitate incident investigations to identify the root cause and counter measures to avoid repetition and horizontal deployment of corrections at other places.
• Facilitate to carry out HIRA and Aspect/ Impact identification in all functions & review the control measures implemented.
• Monitor & track EHS statutory compliances in each section.
• Review monthly with other functions and submit the compliance report
• Implement On-site emergency plan and procedure.
• Conduct training on emergency preparedness.
• Ensure Procurement of necessary equipment and ensure them in always operational condition.
• Co-ordinate for EHS audits by Customers, External agencies and internal team
• Leading the team through effective communication
• Implement 5S system in the plant
