Job summary

Shashwath Solution is seeking a Safety Officer to develop, implement, and enforce site-specific safety policies and SOPs while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

The role includes daily safety inspections, audits, risk assessments, and training sessions, with focus on PPE usage, incident investigations, and coordination with site engineers to minimize hazards. You will maintain statutory records and lead toolbox talks and drills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce site-specific safety policies and SOPs.
• Conduct daily safety inspections, internal audits, and risk assessments.
• Ensure proper usage of PPE and safe work practices.
• Investigate and report accidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions.
• Organise and lead toolbox talks, safety drills, and training sessions.
• Maintain all statutory safety records, logs, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate with site engineers and management to minimize workplace hazards.
• Ensure full compliance with local safety regulations, labour laws, and environmental norms.
