Job summary

Coreehs in Bengaluru seeks a dedicated HSE Specialist to implement and monitor health, safety and environmental policies across sites, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. You will deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and on-the-job training for employees, contractors and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safety programs for company, client, and statutory requirements.
• Conduct Safety Induction, Toolbox Talks (TBT), On-the-Job Training (OJT), and safety awareness programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Prepare and implement monthly HSE activity plans covering inspections, audits, training, emergency drills, and awareness programs.
• Conduct Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA), JSA, and risk assessments for routine and non-routine activities.
• Implement and monitor the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system for high-risk activities and ensure required controls are in place before work commencement.
• Conduct regular site/workplace safety inspections and identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and potential hazards.
• Prepare inspection schedules and coordinate with concerned agencies/teams for timely completion and closure of observations.
• Monitor work at height, scaffolding, lifting operations, hot work, electrical work, excavation, confined space, and other high-risk activities.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, barricading, access control, PPE compliance, and safe work practices at the workplace.
• Conduct accident, incident, near-miss, and first-aid case investigations, identify root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
