Job summary

Lead HR Services Pvt. Ltd. seeks a Safety Officer with strong education in industrial safety and hands-on experience in ESG, GHG coordination, and EHS responsibilities. The role covers safety training, audits, and cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing teams and OEM auditors.

Ideal candidates will have exposure to IATF 16949, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, along with experience in Kaizen activities and Kanban systems within Automotive Tier 1 contexts.

Qualifications

• Safety education from reputed institute (full-time) such as PG Diploma in Industrial Safety.
• Hands-on experience as safety Officer, ESG & GHG coordination.
• Proficient in safety training, induction programs, mock drills, and shopfloor safety awareness.
• Strong MS Excel & PowerPoint usage for tracking metrics and ESG data.
• Ability to coordinate Safety, ESG, EHS, & Sustainability with internal teams, customers and auditors.
• Experience with audits & ESG questionnaires from OEMs like Hyundai, Toyota, Renault, Kia, Maruti.
• Experience in IATF 16949, ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 implementation including internal audits.
• Support continual improvement/Kaizen activities including safety, quality, productivity.
• Knowledge of Kanban and visual management in manufacturing.
• Experience with DOJO training/Skill development cell activities.
• Capability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams to drive sustainable improvements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Safety, ESG, EHS & Sustainability matters with internal teams, customers, auditors and authorities.
• Support audits and respond to ESG/QA questionnaires from OEM customers.
• Implement and audit IATF 16949, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards; drive continual improvement.
• Assist in Kaizen/continual improvement activities for safety, quality and productivity.
• Support Kanban and visual management in shop floor operations.
• Contribute to safety training, skill development, and operator capability building.

Role & responsibilities

• Candidate must have safety education from reputed institute, such as PG Diploma in Industrial Safety (Full-time), Industrial Safety Engineering, NEBOSH IGC / IDIP.
• Hands on experience and more familiar as safety Officer, ESG & GHG coordination and EHS responsibilities.
• Hands on experience and more familiar with safety training, induction programs, mock drills, and shopfloor safety awareness activities.
• More familiar and working with MS Excel & PowerPoint for tracking safety metrics, ESG data, GHG reports, and management presentations.
• Ability to work as a single-point coordinator for Safety, ESG, EHS, & Sustainability matters with internal teams, customers, auditors, consultants and authorities.
• Hands on experience in handling customer audits & ESG questionnaires, and coordinating compliance requirements from OEM customers like Hyundai, Toyota, Renault, Kia, Maruti, etc.,
• Hands on experience in Safety & EHS activities in manufacturing environment, preferably Automotive Tier 1 industries and handling safety/environment audits and requirements of automotive OEMs..
• Must have hands-on experience in IATF 16949, ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 implementation, including internal audits, management reviews, and certification audits.
• Hands on experience in supporting Continual Improvements/Improvement Teams/QCC for Kaizen activities, including safety, quality, productivity, and process improvements.
• Hands on experience in Kanban system support, including visual management, material flow improvement, and coordination with plant operations team.
• More familiar and hands on experience in DOJO training/Skill development cell activities, including safety integration into skill training, standard work, and operator capability building.
• Capability to work cross-functionally with Safety, Environment, Quality, Production, Maintenance, Purchase, Engineering, and Improvement teams to drive sustainable activities and improvements.
