Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking an experienced hardware engineer to work on AMBA-based SoC designs, clocking, and peripheral interfaces in Chennai. You will engage in timing closure, low-power design, and post-silicon debugging with SoC verification teams.

Ideal candidates have knowledge of AMBA protocols (AXI/AHB/APB), memory controllers, and ASIC toolchains like Lint, CDC, Design Compiler and PrimeTime, with multi-clock multi-domain experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of AMBA protocols AXI, AHB, APB and SoC clocking/reset architecture.
• Understanding of memory controller designs and microprocessors is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience in constraint development and timing closure.
• Collaborate with SoC verification and validation teams for pre/post silicon debug.
• Hands-on experience in low power SoC design.
• Experience with synthesis and timing concepts for ASIC.
• Experience with multi-clock designs and asynchronous interfaces.
• Experience with ASIC tools such as Lint, CDC, Design Compiler and PrimeTime.

Responsabilités

General Summary

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

OR

Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
