Job summary

Pasban - The Gatekeeper invites you to join as a Room Attendant in a heritage hotel in a classic Himalayan hill town in India. The property has 31 rooms with lake views and an old-world pace. You will clean, service and set up guest rooms, provide turndown, and report maintenance while keeping corridors spotless.

Freshers with hotel management training are welcome; 1+ year housekeeping is preferred. Basic English and Hindi are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year housekeeping experience in a hotel or resort (freshers with hotel management training will be considered).
• Sharp eye for detail and pride in a perfectly made room.
• Polite, discreet manner with guests; basic English and Hindi.
• Physically fit and comfortable on your feet through the shift.

Responsibilities

• Clean, service and set up guest rooms and bathrooms to the property's standards.
• Provide turndown service and replenish linen, towels and guest amenities.
• Report maintenance issues and handle lost-and-found promptly.
• Keep corridors and public areas spotless.

We're hiring a Room Attendant for a heritage hotel we manage in one of India's classic Himalayan hill towns. Built in the 1870s and looked after by the same family for over ninety years, the house has 31 rooms and suites, many with lake views, an old wing full of character, and guests who return year after year for its slow, old-world pace.

Pasban - The Gatekeeper is the next chapter from Akhil Anand, who scaled Tree of Life Resorts & Hotels into one of India's most respected boutique hospitality brands. We manage a growing portfolio of boutique, experiential hotels, each run on the same idea: small inventory, strong sense of place, real local food and unhurried service.
