Qualifications

• Masters degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Engineering, or related field.
• 4-8 years of experience in Resource Management, Workforce Planning, PMO, or Staffing Operations in an IT services/service-based organization.
• Experience working with global stakeholders is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resource Planning & Allocation: Manage end-to-end resource allocation for ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Capacity & Demand Management: Analyze project demand forecasts and resource supply; maintain forecasting reports and dashboards.
• Stakeholder Management: Partner with Delivery, Talent Acquisition, HRBP, and Learning teams; conduct staffing governance meetings.
• Reporting & Analytics: Generate weekly/monthly utilization reports; monitor headcount, billability, and productivity metrics; prepare workforce insights.
• Skill & Workforce Management: Maintain skill inventory; support competency mapping and workforce planning initiatives.
• Process Compliance: Ensure adherence to resource management policies and data accuracy in workforce tools; drive improvements and automation.

Job Summary

The RMG Consultant is responsible for effective resource planning, allocation, utilization, and deployment across projects and business units. The role acts as a bridge between delivery teams, talent acquisition, HR, and business stakeholders to ensure optimal workforce utilization while supporting project staffing requirements and organizational growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Resource Planning & Allocation

• Manage end-to-end resource allocation for ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Coordinate with Delivery Managers, Practice Heads, and Project Managers to understand staffing requirements.
• Identify suitable resources based on skills, experience, availability, location, and project demands.
• Facilitate internal resource movements and optimize workforce utilization.

Capacity & Demand Management

• Analyze project demand forecasts and resource supply.
• Maintain resource forecasting reports and utilization dashboards.
• Track bench resources and ensure timely deployment.
• Recommend strategies to reduce bench aging and improve billability.

Stakeholder Management

• Partner with Delivery, Talent Acquisition, HRBP, and Learning teams.
• Conduct regular staffing governance meetings with business leaders.
• Provide visibility on resource availability, skill gaps, and deployment risks.

Reporting & Analytics

• Generate weekly and monthly utilization reports.
• Monitor headcount, billability, and resource productivity metrics.
• Prepare management dashboards and workforce insights.
• Support leadership with data-driven staffing recommendations.

Skill & Workforce Management

• Maintain skill inventory and resource database.
• Support competency mapping and workforce planning initiatives.
• Coordinate cross-training and upskilling activities based on future demand.

Process Compliance

• Ensure adherence to resource management policies and staffing processes.
• Maintain data accuracy in workforce management tools.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives wherever possible.
