SKA Group seeks an experienced RMC Plant Manager to oversee the Ready Mix Concrete plant for real estate projects. You will manage production, quality control, maintenance, manpower, and distribution to ensure uninterrupted concrete supply with safety and cost efficiency.

The role requires 6–10 years of experience and a Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, with strong knowledge of concrete tech and batching systems. On-site Ghaziabad location, full-time.

Qualifications

• Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) required.
• 6–10 years of experience in RMC/ construction operations.
• Knowledge of concrete technology and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the RMC plant to meet production targets.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented RMC Plant Manager to oversee the complete operations of the Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) plant for our real estate construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for plant production, quality control, maintenance, manpower management, dispatch coordination, and ensuring uninterrupted concrete supply to project sites while maintaining safety and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Plant Operations

• Manage day-to-day operations of the RMC plant to achieve production targets.
• Ensure timely batching, mixing, and dispatch of concrete as per project requirements.
• Monitor plant productivity, equipment utilization, and operational efficiency.

Production Planning

• Coordinate with project/site teams for daily concrete demand planning.
• Schedule production based on site priorities and delivery timelines.
• Ensure uninterrupted supply of concrete to all assigned projects.

Quality Control

• Ensure concrete production conforms to approved mix designs and quality standards.
• Coordinate with the QA/QC team for slump tests, cube tests, and other quality checks.
• Maintain records of raw materials, mix designs, test reports, and production data.

Maintenance Management

• Plan preventive and breakdown maintenance of batching plants, mixers, conveyors, pumps, and allied equipment.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
• Ensure availability of critical spares and consumables.

Inventory & Material Management

• Monitor stock levels of cement, aggregates, sand, admixtures, and other materials.
• Coordinate with procurement and stores for timely replenishment.
• Control material wastage and optimize consumption.

Manpower Management

• Supervise plant operators, mechanics, electricians, drivers, and support staff.
• Allocate duties, monitor performance, and ensure discipline at the plant.

Desired Skills

• Strong knowledge of RMC plant operations and concrete technology.
• Familiarity with batching plant systems, mix designs, admixtures, and quality testing procedures.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices for plant machinery.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in high-rise residential, commercial, township, or infrastructure projects.
• Exposure to MIVAN / aluminum formwork projects will be an added advantage.
