Job summary

JMR Infracon in India seeks a seasoned RMC Plant Head to oversee complete plant operations, quality, dispatch, maintenance, and cost control. You will lead a team of engineers, lab staff, drivers, and operators, coordinating with sales to ensure timely, high-quality concrete supply.

This role requires strong leadership and hands-on management of production planning and inventory. The position emphasizes safety, QA/QC, and profitability, with a focus on meeting customer demand and optimizing

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.Tech in Civil / Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Strong practical knowledge of the RMC industry and concrete production.
• Experience independently managing an RMC plant.
• Good leadership and manpower-management skills.
• Strong understanding of RMC quality standards and IS codes.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and multiple concrete pours simultaneously.
• Must be result-oriented, disciplined, proactive, and accountable.

Responsibilities

• Manage complete day-to-day RMC plant operations and ensure smooth production.
• Plan production and dispatch according to customer orders and site schedules.
• Coordinate batching plant, transit mixers, concrete pumps, drivers, operators, and site teams.
• Ensure consistent concrete quality, mix design compliance, slump, cube testing, and QA/QC procedures.
• Monitor raw materials including cement, aggregates, sand, admixtures, fly ash/GGBS, etc.
• Maintain optimum inventory levels and minimize material wastage and production losses.
• Ensure preventive maintenance and timely breakdown management of batching plant, TMs, pumps, weighbridge, DG, and other equipment.
• Monitor fuel consumption, plant efficiency, productivity, and operating costs.
• Ensure timely dispatch and reduce customer waiting time, vehicle idle time, and delivery delays.
• Lead and manage plant staff including operators, engineers, lab team, drivers, helpers, and supervisors.
• Coordinate with the Sales & CRM teams regarding customer requirements, schedules, complaints, and upcoming orders.
• Handle customer/site issues related to quality, quantity, pumping, or supply professionally.
• Ensure proper documentation, daily MIS, stock reconciliation, production reports, and maintenance records.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, statutory compliance, and discipline at the plant.
• Take complete ownership of the plant's operational efficiency, quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
