Job summary

TNA ReadyMix is seeking a hands-on Operations Lead for its RMC plant in Maharashtra. You will oversee daily production, plan batching to meet project specs, and ensure quality concrete per designs, while coordinating with Sales, QA, Dispatch, Logistics and Maintenance.

You will supervise operators and drivers, monitor equipment, manage material stocks, and drive cost control and safe work practices. Shift flexibility is expected.

• Knowledge of batching plants, transit mixers, and basic maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the RMC plant and ensure smooth production.
• Plan and monitor concrete production as per customer/project requirements.
• Ensure production of concrete as per approved mix designs, quality standards, and specifications.
• Coordinate with Sales, Quality Control, Dispatch, Logistics, and Maintenance teams.
• Monitor plant machinery, batching operations, transit mixers, and equipment availability.
• Ensure timely dispatch of concrete and minimize plant downtime.
• Handle customer/site complaints and coordinate for quick resolution.
• Maintain proper records of production, material consumption, wastage, breakdowns, and dispatch.
• Monitor raw material stocks such as cement, aggregates, admixtures, and water.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies.
• Supervise plant operators, drivers, helpers, and other plant staff.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and report major breakdowns to management.
• Control operational costs and minimize material and production wastage.
• Prepare daily plant performance and production reports for management.
• Ensure housekeeping, safety, discipline, and proper functioning of the plant.
