Job summary

Accenture is seeking an experienced Domain Solution Architect with 13+ years in sourcing and procurement to lead strategic S2P initiatives. The role focuses on end‑to‑end sourcing, category management, and transforming client procurement operations using digital tools and AI-enabled platforms.

The candidate will engage with client CPOs, design value-based commercial models, mentor junior architects, and drive cross‑functional delivery across procurement digitization programs.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of S2P processes including strategic sourcing, category management and procurement operations.
• Ability to articulate and sell S2P value propositions clearly to CPOs and procurement leaders.
• Strong procurement tech understanding: e-sourcing, e-auctions, contract databases and e-procurement catalogs.
• Experience in building robust commercial/value-based models for S2P engagements.

Skills criteria

• Strategies, Offerings, and Solutions
• End to end understanding of the Sourcing and Procurement function
• Domain knowledge of the Source to Pay (S2P) function including Strategic Sourcing, Category management and Procurement operations (transactional procurement functions).
• Ability to clearly articulate and “sell” the S2P value proposition and being able to explain the solution in simple terms. Being able to “draw” the solution on a white board in a few minutes in such a way that the audience understands how it works and what the key variables are that will impact the solution cost
• Strong understanding of procurement processes/systems and technology, in particular sourcing, e-Procurement. E-Sourcing, e-Auctions, contract databases and transaction “eProcurement” catalogue systems
• Strong experience in building dynamic and robust commercial models (value based, gain share, transaction based) for the S2P function.
• Should possess a good point of view on the future of S2P services, Agentic and AI POV’s and the digital innovations and transformations in the market. Should be able to engage with client CPO’s and Procurement leaders
• Experienced in client engagements where process and platform transformation has been sold to clients. Bring skills and knowledge to digitize client’s process challenges.

• Able to manage the internal stakeholders & make things happen seamlessly & make sign-offs/reviews a natural act so that the deal is effectively reviewed as it is built vs. leaving these sign offs to the last minute resulting in everyone feeling pressured
