INFINX is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to support RIS-related products and healthcare IT environments. The role involves on-site and remote coordination with clinical teams, IT departments, and development to ensure stable RIS/PACS systems and related health tech workflows.

Technical Support Engineer - RIS
Shift time - 9.30 pm to 6.30 am
Location Mumbai/Hyderabad
Requirements:
  • Support product help requests and troubleshoot to resolve any issues.
  • Server Monitoring and Optimization: monitoring of servers, ensuring optimal performance and proactively addressing potential issues.
  • Analytics and measuring of product efficiency and usage
  • Drive automation and efficiency initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve response times
  • Work with professional resources with PACS, viewer and other applications concerning issues, questions and configurations.
  • Coordinating, documenting and maintaining policies and procedures that drive security, disaster recovery, data integrity, and workflow in regard to the system/servers.
  • Coordinate remotely with other IT departments to come up with and implementation strategy.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders (clinical teams, operations, IT leadership)
  • On site coordination with IT departments as they integrate new systems that may affect the product.
  • Ensure high-quality communication during incidents and ongoing support activities
  • Provide on-site coordination with IT teams to support the integration of new and current systems
  • Collaborate with development with the team to execute QA testing and ensure high-quality releases
  • Provide support for systems and workflows.
  • Participate and contribute in collaboration with internal teams to deliver projects and ensure successful implementation of new systems and processes
  • Travel is required for this position, approximately 20% of the time
Skills Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Extensive experience in IT support and quality assurance, with a focus on healthcare or medical imaging.
  • Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, project management and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, mission critical environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate with teams through operational improvement process.
  • Preferred experience in training and working in the application of Digital Health technology in areas of health sciences, allied health, health care operations and/or radiology based operations.
  • Experienced in troubleshooting PC and basic network related problems in a Wintel environment
  • Working knowledge in the following areas a plus: Windows 2000/XP/11, Windows Server 2019 Standard, Active Directory, SQL Server, Wintel hardware installation and troubleshooting, RAID configuration, TCP/IP networking
  • Ability to think critically and to develop solutions to PACS, RIS-PACS, PACS network and other health systems related issues is preferred.
