Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) IAE is seeking a Rig Engineer- NI to advance automotive testing with NI hardware and HIL systems in Bengaluru. The role focuses on integrating, validating, and maintaining NI-based test benches for automotive networks and diagnostics.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with CAN/CAN-FD, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, Linux basics, and Python for automation. Strong collaboration and familiarization with NI hardware are essential.

Responsibilities

• HIL system integration, commissioning, and maintenance of automotive test NI benches
• Automotive communication protocols: CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, Automotive Ethernet
• Vehicle diagnostics and communication tools: Wireshark, Vector CANoe, CANalyzer
• Automotive Ethernet technologies : SOME/IP, DoIP, TCP/IP, UDP, VLANs, 100BASE-T1, 1000BASE-T1
• Hardware integration and configuration of NI hardware, DAQ systems, power supplies, and test equipment
• Linux operating systems, networking fundamentals, and command-line troubleshooting
• Python scripting for test automation, data analysis, and validation workflow optimization
• Version control using Git/GitLab/GitHub and collaborative development practices
