Job summary

Tekskills Inc. is seeking an experienced RF planning and optimization expert in Mumbai to drive 5G/LTE/VoLTE network performance. You will lead outdoor planning, drive-test post-processing, and KPI-driven optimization across multiple vendors and interfaces.

The ideal candidate brings 8-12 years of relevant experience, hands-on tool proficiency with Atoll and Mentum Planet, and a strong grasp of core-network protocols and signaling (S1 MME, ENB, PGW, SGW, S1 U).

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of RF planning and optimization experience.
• Deep knowledge of planning/optimization for 5G/LTE/VoLTE networks.
• Hands-on experience with drive tests and post-processing tools.
• Experience with SIP messages or IMS signaling.
• Familiarity with KPI metrics such as Accessibility and Throughput.

Responsibilities

• Lead RF planning and optimization activities for 5G/LTE/VoLTE networks.
• Perform drive tests and post-processing analysis across vendors.
• Tune models and perform link-budget calculations for capacity planning.
• Configure and manage RF parameters (PCI, TAC, PRACH).
• Analyze KPIs: Accessibility, Retainability, Throughput, HOSR.
• Work with OSS platforms to monitor network performance.
• Interface with core network protocols and interworking interfaces.

Responsibilities

• More than 8-12 years of relevant experience in RF Planning and Optimization.
• In-depth understanding and knowledge of Planning & Optimization for 5G/LTE/VoLTE networks.
• Hands-on experience with outdoor planning tools such as Atoll and Mentum Planet.
• Experience in link budget and model tuning.
• Capacity planning and offloading.
• Parameter planning (PCI, PRACH, TAC).
• Multicarrier design and analysis for TDD and FDD.
• RFDS creation, antenna design, RF specification creation.
• Experience with LTE core system interfaces and protocols such as S1 MME, ENB, PGW, SGW, S1 U, S6a, S11, S5/S8, Rx, NAS, S1 AP, RRC, GTPv2c, GTP U.
• Hands-on experience on drive test post-processing tools and OSS platforms with different vendors.
• Experience with SIP messages or IMS signaling.
• Responsible for all the KPIs such as Accessibility, Retainability, Avg LTE User Throughput and HOSR.
