Job summary

Tekskills Inc. in Hyderabad seeks an experienced RF Planning professional with 8–12 years in 5G/LTE/VoLTE planning and optimization. You will conduct outdoor RF planning using Atoll and Mentum Planet, perform link budget and model tuning, and drive capacity planning and KPI improvements.

Expertise with LTE core interfaces (S1 MME, ENB, PGW, SGW, S1 U, S6a, S11) and SIP/IMS signaling is essential, along with hands-on OSS tool experience for post-processing and performance analysis.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of RF planning experience
• Expertise in 5G/LTE/VoLTE planning and optimization
• Proficient with drive tests and OSS platforms
• Familiar with LTE core interfaces and protocols
• KPI-focused performance optimization

Responsibilities

• Plan and optimize RF networks for 5G/LTE/VoLTE.
• Perform outdoor RF planning using Atoll and Mentum Planet.
• Handle link budget, model tuning, capacity planning, and offloading.
• Plan parameters (PCI, PRACH, TAC) and multicarrier design for TDD/FDD.
• Create RFDS, antenna designs and RF specifications.
• Work with LTE core interfaces and protocols (S1 MME, ENB, PGW, SGW, S1 U, S6a, S11, etc.).
• Operate drive test post-processing tools and OSS platforms.
• Experience with SIP/IMS signaling.
• Monitor KPIs: Accessibility, Retainability, LTE throughput, HOSR.

Responsibilities

• More than 8-12 years of relevant experience in RF Planning and Optimization.
• In-depth understanding and knowledge of Planning & Optimization for 5G/LTE/VoLTE networks.
• Hands-on experience with outdoor planning tools such as Atoll and Mentum Planet.
• Experience in link budget and model tuning.
• Capacity planning and offloading.
• Parameter planning (PCI, PRACH, TAC).
• Multicarrier design and analysis for TDD and FDD.
• RFDS creation, antenna design, RF specification creation.
• Experience with LTE core system interfaces and protocols such as S1 MME, ENB, PGW, SGW, S1 U, S6a, S11, S5/S8, Rx, NAS, S1 AP, RRC, GTPv2c, GTP U.
• Hands-on experience on drive test post-processing tools and OSS platforms with different vendors.
• Experience with SIP messages or IMS signaling.
• Responsible for all the KPIs such as Accessibility, Retainability, Avg LTE User Throughput and HOSR.
