Job summary

Tekskills Inc. in Bengaluru seeks an experienced RF Planning & Optimization engineer with 8-12 years in telecom networks. You will design and optimize 5G/LTE/VoLTE networks, perform outdoor planning, drive tests, and analyze KPIs such as accessibility and throughput.

Must be proficient with planning tools like Atoll and Mentum Planet, and familiar with LTE core interfaces (S1, S5/S8, S11). You will work with OSS platforms and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver network performance

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of RF planning & optimization.
• In-depth knowledge of Planning & Optimization for 5G/LTE/VoLTE networks.
• Hands-on experience with outdoor planning tools such as Atoll and Mentum Planet.
• Experience in link budget and model tuning.
• Capacity planning and offloading.
• Parameter planning (PCI, PRACH, TAC).
• Multicarrier design and analysis for TDD and FDD.
• RFDS creation, antenna design, RF specification creation.
• Experience with LTE core system interfaces and protocols such as S1 MME, ENB, PGW, SGW, S1 U, S6a, S11, S5/S8, Rx, NAS, S1 AP, RRC, GTPv2c, GTP U.
• Hands-on experience on drive test post-processing tools and OSS platforms with different vendors.
• Experience with SIP messages or IMS signaling.
• Responsible for KPIs such as Accessibility, Retainability, Avg LTE User Throughput and HOSR.

Responsibilities

• Lead RF planning and optimization for 5G/LTE/VoLTE.
• Plan and optimize networks including PCI, PRACH, TAC.
• Perform drive tests and post-processing.
• Work with OSS platforms and cross-vendor tools.
• Analyze KPIs like Accessibility, Retainability, throughput, HOSR.
