Job summary

Rcpc in Chennai seeks an MEP Drafter to produce MEP design drawings under the guidance of the MEP Engineer and Team Leader, using ACAD and REVIT MEP, and ensuring alignment with Archetype standards and project conventions.

The role requires coordinating drawing revisions, undertaking site visits to develop detailed drawings and schematic plans, and performing rigorous self-checking and QA checks while supporting colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Produce MEP design drawings as instructed by the MEP Engineer/ Team Leader
• Produce ACAD and REVIT MEP drawings in accordance to Archetype standards
• Coordinate drawing revisions and submissions in accordance with company established procedures
• Undertake site visits to enable preparation of detailed drawings & schematic plans
• Undertake a high standard of self-checking of drawings and documents produced, as well as assist, with internal quality assurance checking and procedures for work done by other staff
• Liaise with project architects, other engineering disciplines, sub-consultants, government and local authorities, clients and other Archetype Group offices as required
