Job summary

Archetype Group is seeking a CAD Draughtsman to produce AutoCAD and Revit Civil/structural drawings to company standards. You will coordinate revisions, undertake site visits, and liaise with architects, engineers, and authorities to ensure accurate, compliant drawings.

The role emphasizes high-quality self-checking, teamwork, and collaboration across Archetype Group offices. Industrial project experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce ACAD and REVIT Civil/structural drawings to company standards.
• Coordinate drawing revisions and submissions as per procedures.
• Undertake site visits to prepare detailed drawings & schematic plans.
• Communicate effectively with all team members and staff.
• Perform self-checking of drawings and assist QA checks.
• Liaise with project architects, other disciplines, sub-consultants, authorities, clients, and Archetype Group offices.
• Candidates with industrial project experience will be given high priority.

Responsibilities

• Produce ACAD and REVIT Civil/structural drawings to the required company standards assigned by the Manager/Team Leader or CAD Manager .
• Coordinate drawing revisions and submissions as per company established procedures.
• Undertake site visits to enable preparation of detailed drawings & schematic plans.
• Communicate effectively with all team members and company staff.
• Undertake a high standard of self-checking of drawings and documents produced, as well as assist, with internal quality assurance checking and procedures for work done by other staff.
• Liaise with project architects, other engineering disciplines, sub-consultants, government and local authorities, clients and other Archetype Group offices as required.
• Candidates with industrial project experience will be given high priority.
• Software: AutoCAD and Revit Structures software packages, and general office software packages (Microsoft Suite, Linux).
