Job summary

Mphasis is seeking an experienced Retirement Services professional with 2.5+ years in financial services operations and at least 12 months in Retirement Services. The role requires hands-on work with Defined Benefits operations, ERISA compliance, and MS Excel for calculations.

Experience in money-in and loan processing, plus disbursements such as QDRO and RMD, is essential. Strong data entry, quantitative decision making, and the ability to meet targets within quality standards are critical.

Qualifications

• 2.5+ years in financial services operations.

• Industry certifications (ASPPA RPF) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform retirement plan calculations and reviews.

Job description

Overall >2.5 years of financial services operations expertise.

Mandatory 12 months of Retirement Services expertise along with knowledge in one or more of following:

1. Defined Benefits Operations (E.g. - Benefits calculations, Benefits Review), Benefits Calculation for Retirement, Termination, Disability, Death, Divorce, Proficiency in MS Excel, and experience in performing manual calculations.
2. ERISA Compliance - US Retirement Plan Testing & Reporting experience. Form 5500 responses to auditor questions
   a) Preparing responses to external auditor questions on the data provided to them in the plan's year end trust statement and supplemental reports.
3. Money In and Loans
   a) Must have experience in handling money in & Loan related activities, i.e., Check processing, contribution, loan initiation, Loan repayments , Reamortization etc.
4. Disbursements: Distributions/Disbursements such as Hardship withdrawals, QDRO, RMD, In-service distributions, loans or experience in processing 401K contribution, loan repayments etc.
