Job summary

ASPECT in Maharashtra seeks an experienced MEP Design Lead to head the design team for retail fit-outs and rollout projects. You will develop MEP strategies aligned with brand standards, review architectural layouts, and provide optimized HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and ELV designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the MEP design team for retail fit-out and rollout projects.
• Develop MEP design strategies aligned with brand standards and project requirements.
• Review architectural layouts and provide optimized MEP solutions.
• Prepare and review HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, ELV and Low Current designs.
• Ensure compliance with NBC, local authority regulations, mall guidelines and client standards.
• Coordinate with architects, interior designers, structural consultants, external MEP consultants and project management teams.
• Review load calculations, equipment sizing, lighting, ventilation and plumbing calculations.
• Prepare and review Concept, Tender and GFC Drawings, BOQs and Technical Specifications.
• Resolve design conflicts through multidisciplinary coordination.
• Conduct design reviews and drive value engineering to optimize CAPEX without compromising performance.
• Support procurement through technical submittal and vendor proposal reviews.
• Provide technical support during construction, site inspections and commissioning.
• Establish MEP design standards, SOPs and quality control processes.
• Mentor and develop the internal MEP design team.
