Job summary

OMBRE is seeking experienced Restaurant Managers to join our operations team in Ludhiana. You will lead day-to-day restaurant and floor operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences in a premium setting.

We expect strong leadership of captains, hosts and service staff, with a focus on guest journeys, service standards, and seamless coordination with kitchen, bar and reservations.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage day-to-day restaurant and floor operations.
• Lead and supervise captains, stewards, hosts and other service staff.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings and allocate sections and responsibilities.
• Ensure proper grooming, attendance, discipline and service standards across the team.
• Monitor the complete guest journey from arrival and seating to service and departure.
• Personally interact with guests and ensure a high standard of hospitality.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and resolve issues immediately.
• Coordinate closely with kitchen, bar, reservations and other departments.
• Monitor food and beverage service quality, presentation and service timings.
• Ensure tables are turned efficiently without compromising the guest experience.
• Monitor reservations, walk-ins and table allocation during busy periods.
• Support upselling and ensure the service team has strong menu and beverage knowledge.
• Monitor billing, discounts, complimentary items, voids and other operational controls.
• Help control wastage, breakage and pilferage.
• Ensure opening and closing procedures and daily checklists are properly completed.
• Maintain cleanliness, ambience and presentation throughout all guest-facing areas.
• Train and develop junior team members and continuously improve service standards.
• Identify operational problems and report important issues to senior management.
• Take complete ownership of the restaurant during the assigned shift.

OMBRE is looking for experienced and highly professional Restaurant Managers / Senior Restaurant Managers to join our operations team.

As a large-format premium hospitality property, OMBRE requires managers who can independently handle busy restaurant operations, lead teams, maintain strong service standards and ensure an excellent guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage day-to-day restaurant and floor operations.
• Lead and supervise captains, stewards, hosts and other service staff.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings and allocate sections and responsibilities.
• Ensure proper grooming, attendance, discipline and service standards across the team.
• Monitor the complete guest journey from arrival and seating to service and departure.

• Manage VIP guests, large tables and special occasions with appropriate attention.
• Coordinate closely with kitchen, bar, reservations and other departments.
• Monitor food and beverage service quality, presentation and service timings.
• Ensure tables are turned efficiently without compromising the guest experience.
• Monitor reservations, walk-ins and table allocation during busy periods.
• Support upselling and ensure the service team has strong menu and beverage knowledge.

Preference will be given to candidates who have worked with:

• Premium standalone restaurants
• Luxury / 4-star / 5-star hotels
• Large-format restaurants
• Fine-dining or premium casual-dining brands
• High-volume hospitality operations

What We Are Looking For

We are not looking only for supervisors or administrative managers.

We need strong floor leaders who can take charge of a busy operation, command and develop a team, interact confidently with guests and maintain OMBREs service standards consistently.

Salary: 25000 - 45000 per month

Salary will depend upon experience, current position, previous organization and overall capability.

Senior/exceptional candidates may be offered a higher package.
