Job summary

The Nutcracker in Goregaon is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, ensuring quality food and a warm, guest-focused atmosphere in line with our brand values.

This full-time, on-site role will lead both front-of-house and back-of-house teams, coordinate with the kitchen, manage schedules, handle guest feedback, and ensure hygiene compliance; support sales and promotions for the restaurant.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in POS systems and inventory management; cost control is a plus.
• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management preferred, but relevant experience accepted.

Role Description

The Restaurant Manager at The Nutcracker will oversee daily operations of the Goregaon restaurant, ensuring smooth service, high food quality, and a consistently welcoming atmosphere ensuring that the team follows the Nutcracker philosophy.

This full-time, on-site role involves leading and mentoring the front-of-house and back-of-house teams, managing shift schedules, and coordinating with the kitchen to maintain timely and accurate order delivery.

The Manager will monitor customer satisfaction, handle guest feedback, and resolve issues promptly to uphold service standards.

Responsibilities also include training and retaining staff, maintaining hygiene and safety compliance, managing inventory and vendor relationships, and supporting sales and promotional activities.

The person in this role will work closely with senior management to implement brand guidelines and operational improvements.

Reporting includes all the sales and expenses reporting with cost controls and sales strategies for the restaurant.

Qualifications

• Experience in hiring, training, and supervising restaurant staff, with effective team leadership and people management skills.

• Proficiency in POS systems and inventory management; familiarity with cost control is an advantage.
