Research Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing clinical or medical research studies in accordance with approved study protocols, ethical guidelines, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and regulatory requirements. The involves participant recruitment, study documentation, data management, regulatory submissions, coordination with investigators and sponsors, and ensuring the successful execution of research projects.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Coordinate clinical research studies from initiation to completion.
  • Assist investigators in implementing study protocols and research procedures.
  • Screen, recruit, and schedule eligible study participants.
  • Obtain informed consent in accordance with ethical and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate study visits, investigations, and follow-up activities.
  • Maintain accurate research documentation, case report forms (CRFs), and study records.
  • Collect, verify, and manage clinical research data.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), ICH guidelines, ethics committee requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate with investigators, sponsors, laboratories, pharmacies, and hospital departments.
  • Prepare regulatory submissions, progress reports, and study documentation.
  • Monitor study timelines, protocol compliance, and participant safety.
  • Assist during sponsor visits, monitoring visits, audits, and regulatory inspections.
  • Report adverse events and protocol deviations according to study requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of participant and research data.
  • Support publication, quality improvement, and successful completion of research projects.
