Job summary

Manipal Technologies Limited seeks a technology scout to evaluate RFID, security labels, printing technologies, and related manufacturing processes. You will support new product development from concept to POC, coordinating with OEMs and partners for trials and commercialization.

Responsibilities include feasibility studies, benchmarking, cost evaluations, and helping automate processes while ensuring compliance and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant industry experience in printing, RFID, or security labels.
• Experience in new product development, technical trials, vendor/OEM coordination, or process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Scout and evaluate new technologies, materials, security features, printing technologies, RFID technologies, and manufacturing processes.
• Support new product development and technology projects from concept through POC, trials, validation, and commercialization.
• Coordinate with OEMs, technology partners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders for evaluation, sampling, trials, and implementation.
• Support development of RFID labels/inlays, secure labels, and other security printing products.
• Conduct feasibility studies, benchmarking, technology comparisons, and cost evaluations for new products and processes.
• Identify opportunities for manufacturing automation, process improvement, productivity, and wastage reduction.
• Support selection and evaluation of printing, converting, RFID, inspection, automation, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Assist in identifying and coordinating product certifications, testing, validation, and compliance requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation including product specifications, process documents, test reports, POC reports, and presentations.
• Monitor technology and market developments in security printing, RFID, anti-counterfeiting, digital printing, and secure identification solutions.
