Who should apply

You should meet most or all of the following:

• Native fluency in Marathi (reading and writing)
• Strong command of English (for prompt interpretation and evaluation)
• Deep academic, research, or intellectual expertise in Marathi literature and/or linguistics, such as:
• Marathi literary traditions (Sant Tukaram, Jnaneshwar, Pu La Deshpande, contemporary authors)
• Bhakti, Dalit literature, and modern Marathi literary movements
• Marathi poetry, fiction, drama, and essay traditions
• Linguistics of Marathi (dialects, sociolinguistics, register variation)
• Oral traditions, folklore, and storytelling practices of Maharashtra

• Passion for linguistic precision, literary depth, and cultural nuance

Your Role
