You should meet most or all of the following

• Native fluency in Marathi (reading and writing)
• Strong command of English (for prompt interpretation and evaluation)
• Academic or professional background in one or more of the following:
• Varhadi, Konkan, Kolhapuri, Deshastha, and urban Maharashtrian cuisines
• Indian food history and culinary culture
• Hotel / restaurant management or professional culinary practice
• Gastronomy, food anthropology, or cultural studies
• Food journalism, food writing, or culinary research
• Deep familiarity with topics such as:
• Jowar, bajra, goda masala, coconut, peanuts, seasonal vegetables
• Ganesh Chaturthi modak traditions, fasting foods, festive thalis
• Home-style cooking, street food culture, and regional food expressions in Marathi
• PhD or Master’s degree is preferred, but credible professional experience as a chef, culinary researcher, food historian, or respected food writer will also be considered
