Job summary

Arrowatt Engineering in India is seeking a telecom/ electrical protection engineer to perform relay testing, configuration, commissioning and troubleshooting of Siemens relays.

You will interpret and test protection schemes such as Overcurrent Earth Fault, Distance, Line differential and Transformer Protection, and analyze relay settings for transmission and distribution systems. Proficiency in IEC 61850 and GOOSE messaging is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in relay testing, configuration and commissioning.
• Ability to interpret protection schemes including OCG/Earth Fault, distance and line differential.
• Analyze relay settings for transmission and distribution systems.
• Proficiency with IEC 61850 and GOOSE messaging.

Responsibilities

• Perform relay testing, configuration, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Siemens relays.
• Coordinate with project and commissioning teams for on-site activities.
• Generate comprehensive test reports and ensure QA/QC compliance.
• Work with relay configuration software such as EnerVista and DIGSI.
• Conduct FAT/SAT and provide customer technical support during commissioning.
