Job summary

Rattanindia Power is seeking an Engineer/Senior Engineer in Amravati, Maharashtra, to lead operation and protection of 400kV switchyards. The role focuses on relay settings, testing, and coordination with grid operators to ensure reliable power delivery.

The ideal candidate has BE/BTech in Electrical Engineering and proven experience with 400kV switchyard protection and operations, including SCADA systems and protection drawings.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in 400kV switchyard protection and operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain 400kV switchyards and one-and-a-half breaker schemes.
• Configure protection logic, settings, and test relays from ABB, Siemens, and GE.
• Test SF6 equipment, CTs, PTs, arresters, circuit breakers, and transformers.
• Work with 400kV SCADA and protection systems and coordinate relay schemes.
• Perform relay testing, troubleshooting, and protection scheme implementation.
• Prepare and review protection drawings, schemes, and logic diagrams.
• Coordinate with WFLDC, RLDC, and SLDC and ensure grid code compliance.

• Testing of SF6 equipment, CT, PT, Lightning Arresters, Circuit Breakers, and Transformers.
• Experience in 400kv SCADA and protection systems.
• Relay coordination, relay testing, troubleshooting, and protection scheme implementation.
• Preparation and review of protection drawings, schemes, and logic diagrams.
• Coordination with WFLDC, RLDC, and SLDC and knowledge of grid code compliance.
