Job summary

HDFC Bank Limited in India is seeking an experienced professional for an agribusiness sales role. You will acquire, enhance and retain agricultural customers, acting as the primary contact for agri-sector clients and driving business generation.

Key duties include sourcing opportunities, staying informed about market changes, building strong relationships with branches and stakeholders, educating farmers, and pursuing cross-sell opportunities while maintaining high service standards.

Responsibilities

• Acquire, enhance and retain Agri sector customers through best-in-class service.
• Source new business and generate leads.
• Stay updated on market changes and product/process updates.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Monitor delinquency/rotation and recovery; perform housekeeping as needed.
• Educate farmers and build capacity within the community.
• Increase product penetration and cross-sell opportunities.
• Coordinate training and development of SO/HBL staff.
• Collaborate with retail branches and other stakeholders.
