Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch operations and profitability.
• Lead field marketing to improve brand visibility.
• Plan and monitor branch marketing activities to generate leads for growth.
• Engage customers for new acquisitions and retention of existing customers.
• Ensure accurate valuation of pledged gold ornaments per policy and audit compliance.
• Joint custodian of the Vault with safekeeping of pledged securities.
• Keep NPAs under control through follow-ups for interest collections.
• Hire, coach, mentor and train employees with timely feedback on performance.
• Prepare reports and drive branch growth and quality performance.
• Increase Gold Loan business and other third-party products (e.g., NCDs, Gold Coins).
• Maintain 100% process compliance in valuation at branch.

Job Summary

This position is open with Bajaj Finance Limited. The Branch manager is a managerial responsibility for providing full leadership and direction to the team of employees in growing business and client base of consumer gold loan. The overall objective of this role is to build customer loyalty and recommend the development of business strategies or initiatives and may include the management of activities by external organizations, and the direct management of individuals.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall branch operations, performance profitability of the branch.
• Drive/participate in field-marketing activities of various financial products along with the team to improve brand visibility.
• Plan, conduct, monitor the branch field level marketing activities to ensure healthy pipeline of leads resulting into business conversion and branch growth.
• Focus on customer engagement for new customer acquisitions and retention of old customers.
• Conducting error-free valuation appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight and purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.
• Joint custodian of the Vault with responsibility of safekeeping of pledged securities as per company policies.
• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from the customers for interest collections.
• Good planning abilities are required for smooth functioning of the branch for developing cohesiveness within the company and co-workers.
• Hiring, coaching, mentoring and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance.
• Maintaining quality performance of the business, preparing various reports of the same and take necessary actions for growth of business in branch.
• Increase Gold Loan business, plus various other third-party products i.e., NCDs, Gold Coins sale etc.
• Responsible for correct valuation maintenance of 100% process compliance at branch.
• Manage error-free valuation appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight and purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 4-7 years of relevant experience required.
• Bachelors Degree/Post-graduation Degree preferred.
• Previous experience in gold loan banking, gold loan products, management or client service preferred.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
