Job summary

Bajaj finance limited is seeking a Branch Manager responsible for providing leadership and direction to a team, growing the consumer gold loan business and client base, and advising on strategic initiatives.

You will oversee branch operations, drive field marketing, ensure a healthy leads pipeline, strengthen customer engagement, perform accurate gold ornament valuation, guard pledged securities in the vault, and mentor staff for branch growth and compliance.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of relevant experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree/Post-graduation Degree preferred.
• Gold loan banking, management or client service experience preferred.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall branch operations, performance profitability of the branch.
• Drive/participate in field-marketing activities of various financial products along with the team to improve brand visibility.
• Plan, conduct, monitor the branch field-level marketing activities to ensure health pipeline of leads resulting into business conversion and branch growth.
• Focus on customer engagement for new customer acquisitions and retention of old customers.
• Conducting error-free valuation appraisal of gold ornaments pledged in branch with correct weight and purity assessment as per company policy and auditing compliance.
• Joint custodian of the Vault with responsibility of safekeeping of pledged securities as per company policies.
• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from the customers for interest collections.
• Hiring, coaching, mentoring and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance.
• Maintaining quality performance of the business, preparing various reports of the same and taking necessary actions for growth of business in branch.
• Increase Gold Loan business, plus various other third-party products i.e., NCDs, Gold Coins sale, etc.
• Responsible for correct valuation maintenance of 100% process compliance at branch.

The Branch manager is a managerial responsibility for providing full leadership and direction to the team of employees in growing business and client base of consumer gold loan. The overall objective of this role is to build customer loyalty and recommend the development of business strategies or initiatives and may include the management of activities by external organizations, and the direct management of individuals.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 4-7 years of relevant experience required.
